ANNOUNCEMENT: Niveous to Release Debut Full-Length "Cult of the Void Star" via Hypnotic Dirge and Void Star Productions

Niveous is a black metal trio hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin (USA), formed in 2024 by Zygrath (Guitars), Vokar (Bass/Vocals), and Nortaath (Drums/Vocals). Drawing inspiration from first and second-wave black metal, the band crafts cold, aggressive music with a focus on atmosphere and immersive storytelling.

In 2025, Niveous made their mark with the debut EP "Endless Snowfall" on Transylvanian Recordings - a ferocious yet melodic 20-minute blast of icy black metal that served as a powerful introduction to their sound. One year later, the trio returns with their debut full-length, "Cult of the Void Star", a concept album rooted in an original story developed by the band.

"Cult of the Void Star" will be jointly released by Hypnotic Dirge Records and Void Star Productions on July 17, 2026.

New England depressive black metal band, Dysthymia, was conceived in 2019 by members Grushenka Ødegård and Ray King. Releasing their self-titled debut full length in 2021 and a split with Saeva in 2024, the band crafts music which evokes despondency, isolation, and hopelessness.

The new record, entitlled "The Morning Darkness" will be jointly released by Hypnotic Dirge and Red Nebula in late summer 2026.
